Atlantic City’s city council will try to ban smoking on casino floors today.
This is the second time in two years that the issue will come before city council.
According to majorwager.com:
An ordinance scheduled to be introduced Wednesday night would still let smokers light up, but only in smoking lounges where there are no gambling tables or slot machines.
The change would eliminate a compromise worked out last year in which smoking was restricted to no more than 25 percent of the gambling floor.
